I had the opportunity to curate and install an exhibition in the Dan and Marie Archer Gallery on Ohlone College’s Fremont campus. The show featured self portrait and self-reflective work made by artists who are trans.
In a year where there has been so much reactionary pushback against trans rights, the right to body autonomy, the right to medical care, the right to exist in public, our goal was to showcase the work, thoughts, and experiences of trans people in a way that was intimate, vulnerable, and put our humanity unavoidably front and center.
This is a digital exhibition archiving the materials and artwork that was included in the show. (works best on desktop)
